8yI reached out to Derek Burke,President & CEO, FSC Securities, Atlanta, member of Advisor Group, who responded with the following comments: “Thanks for the feedback, and there’s no question we have more work to do on changing our culture! It’s a journey we are excited to take. Employees identified “culture” as an area for improvement on a survey earlier this year; but that same benchmark survey also showed we were better than peer companies. With that said, there is never an endpoint here and we are continuing to focus on this as a core priority. For example, in June this year Advisor Group introduced 5 new cultural imperatives: Integrity, Results, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Innovation. These Values are intended to drive and support an environment of mutual respect and accountability. Leaders have conducted all-employee discussions this Fall to listen and discuss how together we can make improvements – to benefit the Advisors we serve and also each other. Agree lots more engagement needed - stay tuned, more to come.”
