RTO Is Inconsiderate

Pros

This can be a good company to work for if they actually brought things to the employees and got our opinions. The benefits and the PTO policy is actually really good.

Cons

RTO does not consider actual issues an employee experiences: Thinking about this as a business, if you are asked to travel further, increase risk, and use more time to do something you would expect increased compensation. This place has added a 2hour loss to my day, increase the gas and wear on my car, and put me in rush hour traffic for the same pay without regard and without compensating this loss. It's negligent business practice. I'm not just complaining for no reason... this is actual tangible loss to my bottom line FOR NO REASON.

Moving in the wrong direction

Pros

Decent snacks in the break room.

Cons

Hired employees just so they could work 80 hour work weeks for 2 years while they completed their "Journey to One" to then lay them all off. Called themselves a Work From Home company and then immediately went back on that, even though every single employee disagreed. The managers liked it so they could tell each other what they did over the weekend face to face, which is very important. They are acquiring companies that they can't financially handle. They are growing way too fast and will realize it soon enough once their private equity owners see the consistent month over month decrease in adjusted EBITA and the waste of money this company is. Also the name change to Osaic was awful, everyone thought I worked at Ozempic, probably would have been better. Accounting department promotions are based on who goes out for drinks with the Director of Accounting after work so I'd suggest being that guy.

Pros

aggressive growth and high ambition

Cons

Osaic prioritizes profit margin over quality of staff. They choose to cut better qualified people because they have a higher salary over less qualified peers. They don't seem to care about actual talent and just want them cheap.
