Pros

Fast-paced environment with people who want to win by working together. Very friendly employees and people really care about one another. Seriously - everyone says hi in the hallways! There is an expectation to work hard, so make sure you are ready for that! Awesome benefits that are comparable to large Fortune 500 companies (offerings and cost). Office space is beautiful with great views of the city.

Cons

Office is near downtown, so the commute can be challenging for those coming from the far East or West Valley. It makes sense that the office is centrally located and is worth the drive. Again, there is an expectation to work hard in a fast-paced environment (which I - and most others who work here - really enjoy), but not everyone will enjoy or thrive with fast-paced work.

Pros

My supervisor offers work/life balance and does not micro manage. The people I work with are friendly and want to see each other succeed. I am on the marketing team and it is fun and upbeat - our CMO challenges us to work hard and challenge the status quo. She remembers everyone by name and takes the time to build relationships. Within my first 3 months of being at Advisor Group I had already met the CEO which was exciting. We have an employee engagement committee that creates fun events at work and outside work so we can network and get to know everyone in the office. We only have 850 employees so the company is a good size. The work is fun, rewarding and challenging.

Cons

We have 4 offices throughout the U.S. so it is hard to get to know everyone on a more personal level.

Pros

AG has really come a long way in just 2 years. The people here are hard working, but also take the time to create relationships, amazing corporate culture. I see the CEO walking around the office multiple times a week and they make sure the C-Suite gets face time with all four site locations in the US. Keep up the great work!
