Pros

Plenty of internal opportunities for advancement as well as carving out niche specialty within the firm.

Cons

There's always a lot going on. This has a lot of benefits, but means that the work environment is often quick paste and top performers are rewarded but often juggle a full load

Pros

For the most part, the company is supportive of your career goals. People seem to care about doing what is right. There are opportunities to cross train and get to know people outside of your department. Osaic seems to be headed down the right path, but only time will tell. Not all broker dealers have transitioned yet.

Cons

Advisor Group became Osaic, and with the new re-branding came a bunch of company swag mailed to our residences. This isn't necessarily a con. The company wants each employee to represent. I get it. But I wonder how much of the cost is coming out of everyone's year-end bonus? It's nice to receive a company gift. What's even nicer is when the gift comes in the form of cash. Everyone is feeling the burden of inflation. And with employees returning back to the office and having to spend more on gas, every little bit of paper goes a long way.
