Disappointed you feel we have a lack of salary and raises. We have highly competitive compensation which is based on a “pay for performance” philosophy. We use current market-based survey sources for decisions about base salary, bonus targets and merit pool percentages. Our philosophy has resulted in robust payments to our employees over the last three years since Advisor Group was established as a stand-alone company.

Pros

I enjoyed my job at Advisor Group very much. They pay was good, as was the work life balance. Benefits were so - so. Vacation was ample.

Cons

The Human Resources Department is tyrannical. The fear that senior HR leadership instills in employees is far from the values of integrity and teamwork the company pretends to promote. It is not a culture of trust.

We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed your job here. Our company is one where there is room for open and respectful dialogue to hold each other accountable for the positive culture and values we all desire in our workplace. At the same time, the HR team must ensure company practices and policies are fairly applied. When these difficult conversations are necessary, we communicate these in a way that respects the dignity and privacy of the individual involved. Trust is earned one day, one interaction at a time, and we are committed to strengthening that culture.
