Pros

Challenging work and a busy fast pace make time fly. A lot of opportunity for problem solvers who take initiative.

Cons

Significant amount of strain on employees as a result of M&A consolidation work. Lowest moral and general employee happiness since I have worked here. Leadership & corporate messaging very disconnected from the reality of employee moral. Seeing a significant amount of colleagues experiencing burnout. Back to office roll out not done the best and it is especially disappointing because many sr. leaders are and therfore some except from working in office. New office is great but really just covers up and ignores issues of existing employee base

Pros

It was great before the firm was acquired. Literally could have been any other company but Advisor Group - I mean Osaic, planned mass layoffs with the sole purpose of accumulation of wealth from the beginning.

Cons

The CEO and everyone at the top lies, blows smoke up theirs, and pretends as if they're rockstars. More concerned with appearances than anything. Advisors should see this as a real concern and pull out.

Pros

They are expanding by purchasing American Portfolios Financial Services and Infinex Financial Holdings

Cons

They are better at setting goals than they are at providing teams with front-line personnel sufficient to meet those goals. My own team environment was toxic - bordering on abusive - partly because of this. When a company has stopped innovating and is surviving by eating other companies, this is not good for its employees.
