The pay and benefits are still good for this area. Most of work is done on the day shift during the week.

Cons

Most of the senior management is gone and has been replaced by college graduates and interns. They don't have much knowledge of building trucks they are there to micro-manage you. At Oshkosh it's all about the numbers- push as much as you can out the door, they don't care about quality. You are also just a number, should you have a health issue that is not work related you are shown the door. Many times the management has stood for hours watching you work and if you are not fast enough you get a letter. The 5S program they use is to take away as much from you as they can and still expect you to get your job done. Should you need time off for something many times it is denied and you will have to take an attendance point to take care of what you need to. The company violates the contract with the union on a daily basis, many times posting mandatory overtime and Saturdays without notice.

They are very flexible with work schedules and they pay well for the area.

Cons

The cultural is cut throat and there is only negative reinforcement. This company does not care about their employees at all. They would rather see people quit then fix things.
