Pros

Remote Work Nice work environment

Cons

Weak people's team, low salaries and lack of transparency Senior management does not know how to coordinate with other teams, lacks communication skills and is solely focused in KPI's. Promotions exist, but not when you deserve, but when there's a hole that needs to be filled. The product team is too focused on their goals and ignoring customers' requests. It's been 3 years since the new product was released, and you still can't change the environment name. R&D is not working on customers' issues during business hours or extended 24/7 contracts because they don't want to be bothered at the end of their shifts or at weekends.

Pros

Great offices. Good and supporting environment. Good benefits. Great and cutting edge technologies in some areas. Better transparency than in other companies, thought its becoming worse quickly.

Cons

Teams face constant change of priorities, leaving projects half done or forcing fast architectural decisions. It has also gotten very political, with less real freedom of speech to state your engineering views or you will be deemed as counterproductive and noisy. Decisions are very centralized and they happen before you have a real option to steer them as an engineer. Worst off-boarding Ive ever had with zero interest from my manager to fix the situation and coming as a surprise for me and the rest of the team. Unsurprisingly HR works in the company best interests. They are not here to help you.
