This is a place where the employee matters and where you will be provided with all the tools and conditions to deliver a fantastic job. The result is that its professionals give 100%. The employee manual (The small book of The few big rules), it is public and it defines the philosophy of the company and it is really implemented, from top to bottom. It is a company that encourages maternity and paternity and it actually has workshops to help employees to cope with parenthood.

Cons

Being a software company, the majority of the employees are men. That affects sometimes the way people communicate with each other as you may witness unnecessary escalated arguments.

OutSystems has a great enterprise product, a great product team and a big opportunity in the "Low-code" market. OutSystems has been able to evolve and innovate year-over-year on Cloud, Mobile, DevOps, etc.

Cons

Low-code market do not have enough voice in the market yet. Large SI companies still struggle to sell more resources instead of business value.
