Pros

One word comes to mind from my time at Owner.com: Excellence. Every person is very intelligent, wants to learn and wants to win in a huuuggge way. Usually you'd find pockets of arrogance/toxicity/maneuvering in this type of sales org. Owner has 0. Not one person and if there are, they get weeded out quickly. They've created a phenomenal culture that is palpable when you walk into the office. Owner is a rocket and if you get the opportunity to be apart of it, jump on it. I only left to move home to New Zealand, otherwise, would've happily stayed.

Cons

- If you enjoy work/life balance. It ain't for you. - Toronto winters lol.

Pros

- Very fast and HIGH ENERGY culture - Incredibly smart people everywhere - Tons of opportunities to try new things in the AI space, literally told to go burn tokens - you'll even see people from non-technical roles build amazing things here due to how highly encouraged it is - Work is high impact and you can really feel the value of your work - Customer relationships are PEAK, no matter your role you are encouraged to talk to customers and because of this it's so incredibly easy to understand why we do what we do - The work is fun, interesting and sometimes downright addictive, hours will fly by and you may not want to stop

Cons

- Can be a little chaotic and disorganized due to how quickly new ideas/projects come and go so you'll need good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks without needing a lot of guidance - The high talent density can make you experience some imposter syndrome (to be fair, being around smart people is a GOOD thing) - Can be stressful if you think about how critical your work is and how an error could impact thousands of businesses - Not a typical 9-5 as some days can be long (I have never felt like it was required but it's not entirely discouraged either, I personally find this nice because work you enjoy doesn't feel like work at all, and if you need to call it a day you can pretty much do so whenever - there's lots of flexibility here)

Pros

Competitive benefits • Unlimited PTO policy • Strong, talented, and hardworking team across the company • Opportunities for growth, recognition, and involvement in initiatives for high performers • Product with strong market potential

Cons

Inconsistent application of performance standards and expectations across team members • Frequent shifts in priorities without clear written alignment • Limited transparency around how QA scoring, activity metrics, and performance evaluations are measured • Heavy workload balancing multiple responsibilities (CSM + support + retention + operations) • Role leans more toward high-volume support than traditional Customer Success • Internal tools and systems created ongoing operational friction very manual work • Lack of clear escalation path outside of direct management when concerns arise • Noticeable turnover following leadership changes
