Pros

You will find 1-2 people that genuinely care about you. Convenient location.

Cons

There is absolutely no room for growth. They'll post a job without asking anyone in the department. Unless you bypass "protocol" in a cut throat manner, you'll never go anywhere. The building contains too many people that have been there way too long/aren't advancing with the times. They micromanage those that do their job & do it well but then have others in the same department who barely lift a finger and can get away with just about anything. Long, long, long summer hours (which are not comped in any way) and in the winters you have to "find ways to look busy" when everyone knows you're not busy.....still expected to be in your chair for 8 hours every day. The women are very cliquey and gossip. They pretend to be your friend to get information then go around spreading rumors and lies. I don't think the owners are aware of most of what actually goes on in the building. They promote "One Ozinga" as in all should fall under the same rules. But for some departments, the rules don't apply. Working remote is no longer an option (even for those far more productive at home) yet there are other departments that don't come in even once a week to the office. Depending on who your "higher up" is, depends on the type of treatment you receive. Poor, poor, management. Unqualified people in positions that they shouldn't be in. Terrible pay for the hours put in. They make a generous contribution to your 401k and hold it over your head as part of your "salary package". If you want more money, don't bother asking.
