      Stable, but frustrating

      Pros

      Stable employment, lots of good people to work with, wide variety of projects to work on.

      Cons

      Raises are random and not tied to performance reviews, and far from annual even though the company is very profitable. Senior management seems to operate more by fear than actual leadership.

      Pros

      Very solid internship program, good practice of formal business, offers a wide range of skill set and knowledge to learn from, very stable company with consistent growth

      Cons

      Very old school, disagreeing with the management or exercising creative new ideas might push your entire career into a fire pit. Hard to let yourself be who you really are, have to find that perfect mix of super conservative yet superficially positive attitude in order to fit in. Hard work doesn't matter as much as fitting in with the company culture.

      I've gotten great experience and sharpened my skillset. New challenges regularly give opportunity for professional development.

      Cons

      Lack of competitive benefits - sick/vacation time, flexible schedule. No 401k match for 1st year, and doesn't pay out until after Jan 1.
