      Low Pay Good People

      Pros

      Good people to work with - Many have worked there for many years and there is a "family" feel to working there.

      Cons

      Working in the workshop is good and the pay is above average there. Working as a qualified Engineer in the office pays terrible. They justify paying people peanuts by promoting Kenworth as a "family" company - And as mentioned the people are fantastic. Meanwhile all the profit goes back to America via its parent company Paccar. Not such a great so called Australian company! Also truck manufacturing is niche so your skills/career is limited. Your job is risky as build rates changes (if your new).
