Good work life balance. Projects can be Interesting. Good benefits. Lots of opportunities to go to new positions.

Cons

Some have trouble with corporate culture. Dress code formal for engineers.

Pros

Company has a great family feel - a lot of long-serving employees, a friendly environment, good family events and generous gifts. People are very proud to work at PACCAR Australia. General focus on engineering - lots of opportunity for progression for engineers.

Cons

Can be challenging to work for a company that reports to the US, limits what you can do. Also, the majority of the business can be resistant to change which can be frustrating. There can be an us-and-them attitude at times.

Not everyone is a back-stabber, some peers are really nice. You get a pension if you stick around long enough. You MIGHT get a 2% raise every 18 months.

Cons

Pay is LOW All computer equipment is sub-standard. Must be a brown-noser to succeed Health insurance is worse every year
