Pros

Lots of opportunities to work in different divisions of PACCAR...I have worked in 4 divisions in the Puget Sound area and not all in the same area of expertise.

Cons

Despite what is said during interviews about people working in different divisions during your career, once you hit a certain age, you are pretty much stuck where you are at until you want to retire. Understand that divisions want to hire people for the long-term but us more experienced people also can have fresh and new approaches to work solutions.

Solid, profitable, and established company. Great benefits and great entry level salary. Dedicated to career development. Treats their employees very well.

Cons

Very traditional and set in their ways, some extremely outdated software that is not user-friendly but it works for them and has obviously aided in their success.
