They do train their staff quite well, and partially sponsor an MBA to those looking to excel in the company. Professional environment.

Cons

Paccar tends to focus on their inside rules almost more than on performance results. It's a big deal if you're not clean shaven one day, but if you didn't finish the report or are late to a meeting, they just expect you'll do it better the next time around. And careful, the environment can be silently discriminative, in other words, if you're a woman, prepare to be the one who cuts and hands out the birthday cakes on those occasions, or if you're a short asian man, you may never see the top of the company… this is just based on what one sees on the inside.

A great place to start learning about work ethic and discipline. Professional working environment with high level of peer respect. Depending on your team, managers are very weathered (~30 years at PACCAR) and can get you up to speed in no time.

Cons

Salary is lower than other competition's. Conservative mentality - Wear a tie and be quiet.
