      Excellent Environment for Results Driven Professionals

      Pros

      Rewards Results driven, career oriented professionals. Simple mission statement, make profits by providing the best trucks in the world. Exceedingly smart management and peers. Seventy-Three Years of profits and large cash surplus provide stability and enable the company to invest in the future. Nice to be able to work at a company where you are proud of the product.

      Cons

      Strict rules on work hours. Very conservative norms. People not emotionally invested in their job will get washed out quickly (Pro?).

      Interesting Culture for Engineers

      Pros

      They let engineers make some decisions, give you a fair bit of leeway in your job. If you know the right people and navigate the ladder correctly, you can move up.

      Cons

      It's completely opaque to new employees how to move up. Salaries are managed to be the absolute lowest possible; new people are always hired at much more than current employees. Some of the engineering managers are absolutely abominable at communicating and organization projects.
