Pros

Your salary is decent. But considering their record profits year after year it could be more.

Cons

This place is awful in every sense of the word. Especially if you are a female of color. The place is dominated by white men and old white men. They do not respect you and will go mute on you instead of behaving like a normal coworker. Everyone is full of themselves even though they don’t know much of anything. Anything they do know is gatekept in order to create an awful hierarchy system. The organization of documentation is horrid! Good luck trying to do a good job because there will always be an obstacle like missing records. And when you reach out to people they will be rude and dismiss you because now they’re a supervisor and they haven’t been in that role you asked about in 3 years! Save yourself, find another job. The building is disgusting - leaking roofs and garbage bins to collect the leaks, mosquitos in the bathrooms, disgusting fridges and no break rooms. Not enough bathrooms since the building is overcrowded - so many people sitting in hallways to work… and conference rooms converted to “offices”. Oh and HR will not do anything about any complaints regarding employees. There’s an employee with a flag on his vehicle that parks in the front - represents well who this company will side with…

Great People, Great Benefits, Average Pay

Pros

The coworkers and managers I have worked with have been great and easy to work with. The health insurance is one of the best in the area. The 401k and Pension are solid. There are lots of training and education opportunities available.

Cons

The pay is average. the corporate dress code is very dated. Suits and ties are still required. The Chairman can be volatile and hard to work with. He has a punitive leadership style that puts everyone on edge. Other executives seem to know what kindness is though. Hybrid work is severely limited at corporate.

Pros

Pay is okay, comparatively speaking.

Cons

#1 - Lack of thorough training. #2 - Management is questionable. #3 - Workplace conditions can be subpar. #4 - Lack of job specialization (required to learn many different jobs with poor training). #5 - Jobs can be very physically demanding/dangerous. #6 - Inequality of treatment between 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts. #7 - Too many right-wing extremists make diversity difficult (Many of them keep their loaded firearms in their vehicles, which is against company policy. Also, Fox News is frequently shown on ALL TV's throughout the plant, bolstering the outlandish views that many of the armed extremists hold). #8 - Instability of positions (could lose your position at any time and be moved to a different dept. or more difficult job). #9 - Sacrificing quality of product for speed of assembly (many products are clearly low quality, due to high speed that management runs the assembly line, in conjunction with lack of training/job specialization). #10 - Understaffing/Overloading jobs (many jobs should require 2 people, but are assigned to a single worker instead). #11 - Morally questionable type of work. (You spend all day building pollution-machines, and if you have kids and/or care about future humans at all, this is a real con. Although, they have recently began producing EV's) #12 - Nepotism (almost everyone who works their seems to have a relative who also works there, which tends to reinforce the toxic, singular political environment). #13 - No janitors (all workers are required to sweep, wipe down, & clean up entire work areas + break rooms after every shift, instead of janitors periodically coming in to clean up). #14 - Break rooms (many of the break rooms/meeting areas are loud, cramped, and poorly setup. i.e. not enough seats/tables for everyone; can't hear managers during meetings; etc). #15 - Climate control (can get very warm during the summer/very chilly in the winter) #16 - Layoff's (multiple layoff's occurred within the 3 year span I was there).
