      Lots of benefits, opportunity, a good place to start your career. A constant growing and expanding company with many opportunities.

      Cons

      Parking sucks in Mt. Vernon location. 1970's style dress and work culture. Conservative.

      Pros

      PACCAR provides great benefits for their employees. The vacation rate has recently been updated in order to compete with other companies. PACCAR is one of few companies to still offer a pension as well as match 401K contributions.

      Cons

      When senior management stop in at a division, the divisional leadership scramble to make sure coffee pots are put away, desks are clean, and everything looks crisp.

      Pros

      401(k) 5% match with no vetting period Fully paid pension Competitive pay If you just show up and drink the PACCAR koolaide (follow policies, make your PAR look really good, etc) you'll succeed without issues.

      Cons

      It's a job at a large company. There's always going to be some people you don't get along with or policies that you don't like.
