PAE reviews

Interviews were absurd, I should have seen it as a sign. Management had no idea what my job was. Everyone was very comfortable treating me as a second class citizen. I worked extremely hard, have a high education and was paid horribly. I was hired for one job and after I put in my notice for my current job I found out I was doing something completely different than what I thought. No one seemed the least bit concerned. There was no one I could talk to. My PAE Manager, who I never met, was annoyed when anyone contacted her. The agency that I was contracted out to said that my horrible experience with PAE was par for the course and that I am way too good to be working there. There was no opportunity for employee reviews. Similarly, there was no opportunity for raises. I felt trapped and am so happy that I left.

After making me quit my former job, promising to start me within a week and promising to pay the PTO time that I lost after quitting my former job, PAE rescinded my job offer due to "new management". They made me wait 3 weeks to hear anything regarding the position after making me quit my old job, promising me that they were contacting HR to set up my orientation, to then learn that they had actually decided to rescind my job offer. The only explanation I got was that the program has gone under new management. I had already set up a new apartment lease closer to the facilities, and lost out on the $600 I could have received as part of my PTO from my old job. Please be warned about this company and DO NOT quit your current job to work with them unless you are absolutely sure that you will be starting with them.
