Pros

Diversity-forward, highly professional co-workers, beautiful office space, high respect given to employees.

Cons

The office location, Crystal City, is no longer a vibrant community since the pandemic.

Cool Work Experience

Pros

Everyone is really helpful and pretty committed to the work. Also, the work itself was fun yet meaningful. The hybrid work model also is better than many other media companies with focus on work/life balance.

Cons

Not much room for growth and salaries aren't great. Not many opportunities for professional development. Struggled with promoting employees of color. Like many companies in 2020, the company made quite a few DEI hires/promotions after being called out about not promoting employees of color/hiring people of color for temp/grant funded positions.

Pros

Good office tech. Clean new offices. Try to act like a major player when only a little fish

Cons

HR and upper management out of touch and not there for the workers. Management style is monolithic and old. Poor poor upper management with no clue about TV. Too much time and effort on diversity and not enough on pure management and people. You might love the job but it won't love you. They have no loyalty and will dismis with predudice. Want a friend get a dog.
