Not The Worst, Far From The Best

Pros

PBS has decent benefits. They provided competitive health care, 401K match, and commuter benefits. Several departments have a good work-life balance, and it is often spoken about as a critical benefit employees stay at PBS

Cons

If you get with a bad manager, you will not grow. If you are capable of passing them, they will feel threatened. (marketing, PBS kids) Your peers who have been at PBS for a decade plus will not collaborate. They will long for the “good old days” and, when not flaunting their pseudo-intelligence, will attack your work. The pay scales are all significantly below the current market scale. TL;DR Work here if you don't value your health, career, or self-worth.
