Pros

I've worked at PC Laptops for almost 5 years now and it's my favorite place I've ever had the privilige to work. My only regret is I didn't look into this company earlier in my life! The company rewards those that are willing to work hard, with a pay structure that is only limited by your own ambition! The culture at PC Laptops however, is what makes you really enjoy your work, as I've never woke up and felt upset that I had to go to work that day. Nearly everyone here was and is a computer hobbyist, with interest in games, technology, and the geekiness of being a computer nerd. I'll borrow a saying from a previous employer and say "having fun while being the best" is truly what we do! The owner is very involved and all around a really charismatic, successful, and likeable guy, and he really wants everyone of his employees to be succeed just like him if they so choose. He is always there to answer your calls, no matter how busy he is his motto is "I always have time for my guys". He makes sure we all have access to skill and life building programs, is very involved and he'll even invite groups of his guys to go over trainings that involve primarily life hacks, to hopefully improve his guys lives. PC Laptops has awesome benefits as well! Health insurance plans will pay 75 to 100% for the employee, and paid time off builds up and up and up each year, as well as give you the option to be paid out on what you don't use. There's also a great employee purchase plan which most people utilize as soon as they can, with discounts and the ability to take purchases out of paychecks over time. Making it entirely too easy to get that epic computer you knew you wanted, probably a little too easy :P and FYI employees get the same warranty that we offer to customers (which is the best in the business). However, probably the best benefits of working at PC Laptops are the benefits that aren't listed in the employee handbook. We actually had an entire theater rented out for opening weekend of Star Wars and the owner took the guys out to shoot machine guns as well, to name a few of the more recent "field trips" :D But at the end of the day, people seek employment to get paid, and like I said earlier, the only regret I have is not having found this company earlier. I had one of the highest paid positions as an onsite technician after working at a big box electronics store for 5 years, and I was able to match that my first 30 days of employment at PC Laptops. The owner believes that good help is hard to find, and if you are willing and able, then your pay is what you make it, and it scales rather highly, as I still am able to reach higher and higher every year of working here. Before I applied here it was definitely not my first choice when thinking of how I could take my career to new heights as I had thought a goverment job or something of that nature to be ideally what I was looking for, but gave this place a shot, and now I make more money than everyone of my friends working on Hill Air Force Base, IRS, and even the ones that went into college. In fact I'm doing better than my mom who is an RN :D Now to paint a fair honest perspective ala Glassdoor perception of what you're getting into, there's a couple things you should know. With any retail position (or any job working with people for that matter) there will be times that will be stressful, and you need to be able to adapt to different situations, but don't worry the management team in place are all here to guide you when needed. If you are not willing to work hard or if you are the type that has a hard time motivating yourself to work then you may not fit in here as it is generally fast paced, high energy work, and there is always always something to do. We have had hiccups here in there but any company hurdles are majorly out weighed by the aforementioned benefits and pay. There are no part time positions, but we have lots of employees going to school full time, as they are willing to work with your schedule.

Cons

Being a company that started out relatively small and has grown and grown at an alarming rate, there have been hurdles here and there.

Pros

Competitive salary, great bonuses, and good vibe to work here. Working here has awesome perks, but you have to be able to hack the effort, the ones who persevere make the big bucks, and move up.

Cons

Not a place for the week minded, have to prove your self worth which is actually a good thing for those who need the push to be successful.
