Opportunities for internal promotion, on-site and external training, solid pay, freedom to identify work or areas of improvement

Cons

Must sacrifice weekends and time with family, some employees seem irrationally hostile to change, unclear expectations, breakdown in communication, must be in great health (i.e. time off for sickness is allowed but looked down upon)
