Lots of Changes; Could be Good, Could be Bad
Pros
The people who work and live (neighborhood) here are A FAMILY. This is possibly the most close knit neighborhood I've seen in Seattle. Many very lovable characters work at PCC View Ridge and others who live in the area. Great Benefits!!! Union job with UFCW Local 21.
Cons
Lots of very talented long time employees not getting the promotions/titles/pay they deserve. Many other PCC stores have lots of different management positions. This store essentially works with a skeleton crew with not much room for growth. Also many people calling out sick and no-one willing or available to fill their spot (except the long time employees who are already working 7 days a week with no Lead title). The solution to this also seems to be cross-training every clerk with essentially every duty of the store. This is exhausting for most people who have not been there long and thus results in very high turnover.
