Pros

I've found no positives to take from this position.

Cons

Within my time at PCI I've accumulated a list of grievances and a culture I simply do not agree with. *Poor culture on quality; nonexistent when it matters most within a GMP organization, to many examples to list where quality was swept under the rug *The company itself is the opposite of being ALCO+ Lean and has been for some time now and I believe its far too late to change the culture within the company. *Pay is egregiously non competitive specifically for a QA position (A position that does little to nothing as I had mentioned that the quality in this company is non existent) *It's taken months for an official Handbook and we have yet to get one, *Safety. I am shocked that the PPE given to employees is not talked more on these forums. The manufacturing suites have insufficient amount of PPE that will fit people. I've seen operators wear PPE that is either too large or too small handling corrosive, biological material, etc. etc. It's been a known unsung issue and not one thing is done about it. *Lastly, one of the most glaring issues with working at PCI is the lack of qualified personal. Its obvious that many employees here don't have the necessary background or education, this is a major red flag especially when you consider the complexity of the work involved in the pharmaceutical industry. In fact the work, culture, and emphasis on quality done here would never pass at any other reputable pharma business that adheres to GMP regulations. -If you are looking for a place where you can grow and be mentored by experienced professionals, this is not it. I'm sure there's individuals that are experienced but is it worth finding out if there is or not, I leave it up to you as in my experience I did not have any.

Pros

People are friendly, and good to work with.

Cons

Atrocious attitude towards employee retention and complete unwillingness to offer any meaningful compensation for even the most consistent workers. The company clearly is looking to cut costs to maintain their poor grasp on current clientele/projects and employees have paid the price. Many people who I worked with for years have left the company within the last year due to the lack of career opportunities, poor raises, mediocre work/life balance, struggling business forecast, and transparent anti-employee practices from upper management. Please do yourself a favor and ignore this company. It does not care about you, nor will it pay you well or offer you anything of value even if it did.

Pros

Educational Assistance, Profit Sharing, Bonuses for Managers and 401K; Full Remote capabilities for Managers during Covid-19

Cons

Management doesn’t care to listen to their employees struggles or try to give them assistance when needed and are willing to drain their employees for all they’re worth. Don’t look to retire here as your time put in is considered a joke. There’s no such thing as appreciation no matter how many years you’ve served, if they no longer want you there they’ll throw you in positions that are quick to be laid off or ones where you can easily be fired and if you don’t accept to do the role, they can let you go without warning and offer you a penny compensation package. There’s also a lot of nepotism, bias, politics and favoritism within the company, especially when it comes to fair pay and titles. Those that deserve to be in positions aren’t given an opportunity to do so, and when you’re terminated, leave willingly or just get hired, HR doesn’t announce it to the company anymore unless you’re higher up because they don’t care so most employees are lost trying to determine who they need to contact. If you have an opinion that’s different from theirs then you should just leave before they kick you out the door.
