Pros

Great company to work for ,Vary safety oriented, , decent pay , nice tools , benefits , lots of other professional trades to work with.

Cons

No 15 minute breaks While working in Arizona where the temperature on the slab could reach 120. Only 1 lunch break not paid no cooldown breaks already people have been over heating management stays in air conditioned trailers all day and they come outside for 5 minutes we don't have a lunch room or and cooldown shack for the trades, trades get treated like garbage. People act like mocho men say we don't have to cool off. Management seems to except that this is ok . When I think pcl has much high standards . You should be offered a 15 minute break to cool off.

Pros

I'm proud to be part of this company. The history and projects of this company are truly remarkable. Moreover other people in the industry respect PCL; everyone holds us in high regard. I've only been with PCL for two months, but speaking to potential new hires/recruits, I can tell you this has been one of the smoothest transitions and on-boarding process I've ever been a part of. The resources are endless, the people are friendly and willing, and there are constant [formal and informal] check-ins.

Cons

The expectations are high. Don't expect anyone to hold your hand. If you make it through the interview process and are hired, you have a level of expectations that must be met, expect to get to work.
