      Pros

      Decent pay and overall compensation. Flexibility with remote/hybrid/onsite work arrangements. Overall CEO has done a good job of leading the organization in the right direction while staying focused on top priorities and addressing emerging technologies, etc.

      Cons

      All business units not aligned properly. Some questionable organization structure layout.

      Pros

      PenFed is a wonderful company, from the top down. Managers are supportive and knowledgeable, peers are happy to assist, and senior management listens and leads. It is a highly informed team across the board. Questions are encouraged. Work is focused on "value-add" and less on "check the box" activities. I highly recommend PenFed to anyone looking for a rewarding career. It's a fantastic company that focuses on meaningful work and understands that importance of work-life balance.

      Cons

      Not a con per se, but the teams are very slim compared to other financial institutions.

      Pros

      They don’t fire anyone so once you’re hired, no matter how incompetent you are, you’re there as long as you want to be employed.

      Cons

      Leadership does not know what they’re doing. Complete ignorance in making decisions. The company has almost gone under several times. The more toxic you are, the better you’ll do at the company.
