Pros

Charity involvement, benefits, brand recognition, TPC Membership, tournament tickets.

Cons

Culture. Lots of politics and back-stabbing, even at entry-level roles. Very top-heavy for compensation, promotions, praise and decision-making. Toxic environment in certain areas. Diversity and Inclusion is proclaimed for corporate buzz and PR, but not embraced for its long-term benefits.

Pros

Free golf at TPC Sawgrass, free entrance to most PGA TOUR golf events

Cons

Low compensation - you will be paid $8.05 per hour (before taxes). Commission isn't anything special. You will struggle financially if you don't have additional financial support. Once you take this job, you will only be able to work in Sales at the PGA TOUR. You will NOT be able to work in any other department at PGA TOUR HQ. If you have the opportunity to be promoted, you will be promoted to another PGA TOUR/WEB.com/Champions Tour tournament - you have little to no say on where you want to go geographically. You are placed at a tournament based on "fit", which is decided by people who really don't take the time to get to know you personally.
