Pros
Most of the PJCC staff are like family, and support each other. Except for salaries (non executive that is), the benefits are good - generous vacation time, Jewish holidays, 403b. It's a soft place to land, to gain experience if you're at the beginning of your career; and good for those who are perhaps tired of the corporate 'rat race'.
Cons
The organization and senior management is a little behind the times - methods and technology. Only minimal effort is made to make staff feel valued, morale in some departments could be improved. Very little chance to learn, grow or be challenged.
