Pros

Truly top notch restructuring and special sits group. Best banking experience available out of college with the best exit opportunities, smartest senior professionals, and friendliest culture. All levels associate through partner are homegrown with no lateral hires, meaning a consistent experience across the group. People are invested in you and your career, and small analyst class sizes result in a tight knit bonding experience

Cons

Can be demanding given the group runs very lean and sees a significant amount of deal flow, particularly during macro downturns. Though it’s a generalist program, your industry experience will obviously depend on which sectors are facing headwinds (e.g., significant O&G deal flow since 2015, a lot of consumer retail over past few years, etc.)
