      Pros

      PLOS has some of the most dedicated and personable people I've had the pleasure of working with. Everyone is invested in innovating open science and removing barriers to scientific publishing and their hard work reflects that. Middle management has been very proactive in making sure voices are heard up at top.

      Cons

      Mercurial upper management. Priorities can shift suddenly leaving teams scrambling.
