Pros
PLS has a great- young and fun- atmosphere! The company is growing rapidly and new opportunities pop up every day! We are like a family- who truly cares about each other- professionally and personally! This job is 100% full commission which is clearly not for everyone. In my 2 years of working for PLS, I have seen many new AETs come and go- but I have seem the same trends in everyone who has remained at PLS and has successfully built a book of business. The successful individuals here at PLS work hard, put in the hours, have a competitive- refuse to lose attitudes, and are determined to succeed. Others have commented that if you are looking to come to work and just collect a paycheck for the hours that you are here that this is the wrong job for you-- this statement could not be truer!! This is not a job for the faint of heart-- everyone who succeeds here earned it! PLS gives you the tools you need to learn and grow to be the best Account Executive you can be. No one micro-manages you or tells you exactly what to do minute-by-minute, but management is here for you when you need something, will exceed your expectations to help you accomplish whatever your task at hand may be, and will be there for you when you are having a tough day and just need to talk. The high stress level of this job can take a toll on you-- but that is what makes our office as fun as it is! We have a team surrounding us to pick us up when we start to feel like things are not going well, to crack jokes to improve our mood, and to offer suggestions to help you succeed. The comments stated negatively about PLS on this site are more than likely from individuals who are non-performers and complainers who couldn't handle the stress of this job, and couldn't sell on their own. Here we are given the opportunity to be our own boss, to have input on the direction of the company in its entirety and to succeed in a highly lucrative position. If you are a positive person, high energy, and motivated to succeed we would love to have you on our team here at PLS!
Cons
This is a fully commissioned position- your job relies on your work ethic-- for those of us who are successful here this is plus-- but if you do not have a solid work ethic this could be a con for you. This is also a highly demanding job, which is highly stressful-- if you do not learn how to deal with your stress in a positive manner this could also be a con for you.
