Pros
not many, if you're in a program the salaries are better than if you are not in one. However, program management is never consistent, expectations out of the program don't exist, and trying to ascertain a placement post program seems like a surprise to everyone. Overall horribly run program at a company that's really just putting band aids over bullet holes.
Cons
Management has all been there for 20+ years and won't let anyone new in, pay increases are less than 1% and only can be reevaluated once a year.
