      Pros

      This company is cool! They have an exciting portfolio of business operations, and a fun corporate culture. It is an exciting time to be a part of this organization, as I see only good things to come down the road.

      Cons

      Although the company is growing, the transition has been bumpy at times. Communication from executives to employees is slow.

      SilverStar is a business that feels like a community

      Pros

      The mountain itself is absolutely packed with fantastic terrain and snow. You are treated as an important individual with strengths and weaknesses, not just a number. It is a business I have made lifelong friends working for. Management will take feedback seriously and make adjustments were appropriate.

      Cons

      Cost of living (either in staff accom or privately) is high to the point of being unsustainable. High staff turn over (a result of seasonal work, not the working conditions) means the management can be quite variable sometimes.
