Pros

Supportive management at all levels. Big emphasis on feeling free to ask questions and communicate.

Cons

Teams spread across the globe can create a delay for some business needs/processes. Adjustment to Thermo Fisher (acquired PPD) will take a few years.

Pros

Great flexibility and great benefits

Cons

Salary increases for internal employees in support roles (non-scientific track) do not appear to be as prioritized as those for the scientific track

Pros

Even though I’m a consultant for another company, I’m a FT employee of PPD so you get health, dental, and vision benefits through them. I got 4 weeks of vacation time plus you can rollover 2 weeks each year.

Cons

When you are a consultant for another company, PPD only keeps employing you up til your contract is over.
