Pros

Not many pros given that the place is hot or cold depending where your at and first shift doesn't follow the rules of sweeping because it's a mess for third shift. Maintenence half does work. I saw a damaged wire in the water and they hardly ever clean the fans for cooling and the new ones don't start easily.

Cons

Dirty, ignorant immature people, entitled, favoritism, a lot of lifting, they under pay if you don't watch paystubs. Bosses just stare at you with wierd stares like their stalkers and they like to distract you from your work and pretend their busy the last hour.

Great people, great products, questionable management

Pros

A lot of extremely hardworking people who will do whatever is necessary to keep things running and help out their colleagues. Great products that outperform the competition.

Cons

Management is completely out of touch with the company PPG has become over the last 15-20 years and even the last 3 years through the pandemic. No one has any clue what teams do or how they work. RTO is being forced on everyone who is within driving distance of an office even if they have no association with that location aside from needing to be based out of somewhere for tax purposes. There are a lot of non-technical people making technical decisions and it never ceases to amaze me how little logic or common sense is used in the decision making process. The emphasis on a one-size-fits-all approach is killing the company. Yes, redundancies need to be eliminated after acquisitions, but you need to actually integrate those acquisitions before you eliminate the duplicate resources as well as remember why you bought the business in the first place. PPG is too big.
