Pros

Benefits are decent, career advancement if you can make it happen, most coworkers are really great people.

Cons

Favorites are promoted non stop, its almost sickening. They will work you to the bone with promise after promise of something more for you but it never happens. Applying for posted positions is a waste of time, they already know who they are putting in place. Why waste everyone's time and effort to post and interview? I've known for a fact who was going into a position and watched everyone interview and give their all only for that person to get the job anyway. Just don' t post it! 3. The disparities in income and career advancement between gender and race are horrible. I know this for a FACT!

Cons

Unorganized Management has no clue Low pay Data problems everywhere If you like fixing other people’s, not knowing who to contact for help, and having people “pass the buck” then this is the place for you. Management even at the department level has no clue what the people under them actually do, upper management could care less about anything other than profit but they will never make any of the changes needed to actually grow the business. Our competitor, mops the floor with us on just about every level, internally and with their sales approaches. (Former competitor employee) Field staff is terribly under trained, not to mention unmotivated by our poor bonus structure and we don’t even give them access to all the information they need in order to sell correctly. There are layoffs, and we are closing stores left and right. Now, maybe I’m wrong but don’t we need stores to be open in order to sell paint??? Corporate office, has a new and exciting system problem every day of the week, and SAP only works 50% of the time. Our data is horribly outdated, and the way the system is set up, if one person changes something incorrectly it flows to every department. The company could do very well, but the amount of changes needed to be made in order for that to happen, is staggering. It would take almost entire restructure to even come close to the #1.
