Pros

If you're willing to take on other people's work and stay over to finish you'll gain tons of experience. My coworkers were nice and conveyed a family oriented atmosphere in my department. Good place to gain experience even though compensation for the work may not be available. Okay benefits.

Cons

Management does not communicate well. They expect you to be a mind reader and will blame you for not understanding what they are trying to say. If you're not careful management will walk over you and supervisors will take credit for work that you completed. Pay is not competitive and raises are a joke. The company may have record breaking profits but they will still only give you a 1.5% raise. Management is very sneaky and will make unpopular decisions and then have a meeting to reiterate that there's nothing you can do about the changes and that you'll just have to deal with it, but they understand that you're upset. No incentive for good employees to stay.

Pros

Not many... I guess if I had to mention one it would be work/life balance. Stores mostly closed on weekends and reps not expected to work.

Cons

Clueless middle and upper management is the biggest one. Also, company paid considerably less than most competitors. No organization chart, no HR support, no LP presence. No room for advancement as they constantly look outside the company instead of promoting from within. For such a large company, benefits are average at best and pretty expensive. No appreciation from middle and upper management for delivering results. Instead they like to either nitpick you over little things or say nothing at all and get rid of you. Little or no training provided as middle management is completely incompetent and have no clue where to start. I could go on and on.... stay away from the stores division unless you like being treated with little respect, like being underpaid and underappreciated, and enjoy being taught next to nothing but expected to deliver results.
