Pros

Great company. Get along well with co-workers. Supervisors are ok. However some are allowed to get away with just about anything because of their longevity. As usual good ole boy network in full affect. I've seen people hired who have no business there.

Cons

Dow Plaqumine site. Hourly wage rose fast from $16-$19 in a matter of months. However due to new contracts limited overtime. This voids the hourly wage if you can't get hours.. great job to get your foot in the door. Hard to survive with a family with limited hours.

Decent money but management is bad heard I was let go by employees before supervisor and sgs plant supervisor told me even though I had a meeting with them 1 hour beforehand my fellow coworkers notified me before they told me ... appperently they told everyone else before they let me know ... poor management in my experience

Cons

All management is about themselves they don't care about employees everything they care about is how you make them look but they don't compensate you for it....

Great place to learn the petrochemical industry. Career opportunities for goal driven individuals. Decent benefits.

Cons

Lost its original "family" feel. As a contractor it is expected that their wages are on the low side. Big disconnect between the field supervisors and management.
