Pros

The on site perks are amazing and the campus is beautiful. There's events every month for something, and other small celebrations. At least once a month a food truck will be outside the campus. The gym is top notch and will definitely fit any needs. Most of the coworkers are passionate, and care about their work. The yearly bonus payout is nice.

Cons

Management in IT is abysmal. Employees are treated like their opinions don't count, and are over worked. The company is supposedly growing exponentially but will not hire to accommodate for the growth. At least half the IT department is contractors, and employees are treated like crap. You can bust your rear to really pump out quality work, and get zero recognition from it. You can also become a SME on multiple systems, and get told that you haven't done enough to warrant a promotion. Yet at the same time someone that doesn't know how to do their job and puts out cruddy work will get a promotion to "make them look good" and get transferred to another manager. In my time there I literally had 7 managers total, getting a new manager at least twice a year. This was due to constant "restructuring" of the organization. Like I said, you can bust work out and won't get recognition for it. It was a very rare occasion to hear "Thanks for your hard work". But it was very common place to be blamed for something, or to be scolded. And management in IT was more about scolding someone rather than recognizing their achievements. Management schemed, planned, and tried everything they could to make themselves look good. This included throwing employees "under the bus", yelling at employees, threatening to fire them if something wasn't done, and even lying to multiple people to make themselves look good. Over three years with this company and never got word of a promotion. This company would rather hire from outside to fill positions than to move people internally. I literally witnessed two people get hired to fill two positions, and these positions could have been filled internally with much more knowledgeable employees that were much stronger on the systems than someone externally. Prepare to not get recognition, not get promoted, and not get treated like a person while being over worked. Oh, and everything will always be an emergency. Every single project will be rushed and an emergency due to poor planning from leadership.
