Pros

Positive atmosphere- Continuous encouragement for success- Generous vacation time

Cons

Ever changing schedule- Mandatory shift bid- It doesn't matter how high you rank, when the shift you prefer isn't offered within your vacation group.

Pros

This company cares about the employees and shows it in many ways, Examples: -offers yearly bonuses -offers new hires a minimum of 17-18 days PTO -Provides an Employee Assistance Fund that fellow employees can contribute to -company matching for a percentage of 401K contributions -free fruit daily, including coffee/tea -offering 16 hours of Paid community charity work -hosts a Christmas party -keeps employees informed and shuts down in advance of Hurricanes or other bad weather -holds quarterly mandatory company meetings and takes questions -utilizes employee surveys like this one, and listens to the employees' feedback -H.R. encourages employee feedback and so does our company president

Cons

-Inter-Departmental communication is lacking -PSCU fails to pay a competitive wage for positions within IT and app development -new online product development is rushed and the product testing on average is incomplete when the product is released for our clients' and members' use. -In addition the Product documentation and training necessary to help PSCU support our clients is lacking when the product is released. -The product development process isn't standardized so every group involved in Application development and Implementations are not being held to a consistent level of quality, and this process needs a Lessons Learned applied -company ticket database is very clunky and user unfriendly. Needs major overhaul or replacement to vastly increase efficiency. -Overtime is not allowed in many areas, and can make things difficult when working within a small group -More work and shorter turn-around SLAs are being placed upon employees, creating heightened and undue stress.
