Pros

Pay is good after 20 years, friendships made are lasting

Cons

Utilities have unions, which manipulate and lie to management and hold them hostage. Unions are useless, management has no backbone. It makes for a less than comfortable environment.

Pros

Growth within the company on, or after 2012 should be quite good. The company diversification has helped keep the bottom line for stockholders a reasonable choice

Cons

Pension plan and health benefits are not what they were prior to 1999. Bonuses are linked to goals that individuals rarely have any control over (1st line supervision). For 2010 salaries are frozen and bonuses are unlikely. Hiring is at a minimum. Layoffs are possible.
