They struggle with retention due to lack of internal promotions and poor salaries. I've seen many people have to make internal lateral (or sometimes external) to get a higher pay.

The workload can be heavy at times, and despite efforts to be proactive, some customers don't cooperate which forces us to be reactive. R&D and Product Management can be really slow to unresponsive, but leadership will teach you how to work through it and get answers if you speak up.
