The food, the regular working people and the Holiday party

Cons

Very poor management; Training is extremely poor ( manager sent me YouTube videos for training); Inattentive and lackadaisical HR department; Poor chemical management system ( very dirty labs!)

Pros

Good compensation, tons of food (before the pandemic), and going to conferences and learning opportunities are encouraged and expensed.

Cons

Tight deadlines that appear with little discussion, a feeling of “here’s the date, no flex, do what you have to do.” Can be very stressful and overwhelming. Expect to sacrifice evenings and weeknights throughout your tenure. Burn out and effects on mental health are real.
