Pace makes money by reaching out to large companies that dont want to "employ" entry level jobs. Pace then creates the position and gets paid by the original company a certain amount to cover our wages and also for Pace to make a profit. Yearly raises aren't even close to enough to make up for yearly inflation, as well they try to be sneaky and lump your yearly raise in with your raise for getting promoted to a higher level scientist. All of my coworkers got a different raise for "market inflation", if inflation is the same for everyone, shouldnt the inflation raise be the same for everyone? There is no possibility to move up or around unless you want to be a corporate shill that causes another generation of scientists to be underpaid and underappreciated.
