Pros

401K Match Decent humans are still working there. ATT Discount

Cons

Wrong people are in leadership roles and they’re simply there to ride out their time until they can retire. It seems most of the people that are left are just there so they can get their pension (a benefit no longer offered). They’ve promoted people based on tenure, but they have no clue what they’re doing. Add incompetence and unwillingness to learn to a critical staffing shortage, and everyone is on edge, pissed off and just generally terrible to work with. The company is constantly cutting budgets, not filling roles (unless your leader is favorited by a president) and honestly I’m shocked they haven’t some critical malfunction or error yet. You might be lucky and get a job with a decent manager, but soon you’ll be reorganized and shoved under someone else. Leaders think that all of the people fleeing are “bad apples,” but they’re really just tired of the horrific leadership styles and the culture of the organization.

Pros

- Okay salary agreements(nothing to write home about)

Cons

WFH fiasco, can't find a daycare for my children since alot of them have been closed due to covid, don't want to have to have them out there potentially getting covid of course but the CEO tried to make me take a 10% pay cut to continue to WFH with no justification(I have HIGHER effeciency at home) when I tried to take this deal, corporate told me that I'd have to quit if I didn't come back to the office(yes I explained my situation and it was like talking to a brick wall). I emailed my resignation with 2 weeks notice as soon as they said that and a few hours later they wanted me back?(looks like they were using it as a negotiation tactic) It's a tight labour market and if I have to pick between my CHILDREN and my work I will always pick my CHILDREN. The nerve of these people, I agreed to come back but only if I got a 15% raise, could WFH and didn't get the WFH paycut, they agreed to none of this and said I'd have to take a WFH paycut, that I couldn't WFH because Management didn't allow it and that my "Job hopping"(I'VE BEEN HERE FOR 6 YEARS) was viewed as "dishonourable" and demonstrated a "lack of loyalty to the company" which may impact on their "consideration for the previous postion". I just hung up the call then and blocked all communications channels, interviewed for another WFH job and now have double the salary and superiors who actually listen to me. Couldn't be happier.
