Pros

Great, hard-working employees. Office remodels are nice.

Cons

This review would be 5 stars had they just left the 2 days/week work from home policy in place. I thought I would retire from PacifiCorp...right up until their handling of the pandemic and return to work policies. Giving people two weeks notice to return to work or take a 10% pay cut and pretending like they're doing us a favor by allowing this "flexible" work arrangement. I signed an offer letter for a salary that was commensurate with a job I would be doing. A 10% pay reduction for doing the same backbreaking work should be illegal. To add insult to injury, they've removed a pre-pandemic benefit of working from home up to two days a week. This is presumably to incentivize people to opt for the 10% pay cut. Is PacifiCorp so hard up for cash that it is willing to take it (and benefits) from its employees? Don't they know that many companies are targeting better work/life balance for workers? They have to know they will lose valuable people over this. I just don't think they care.

Pros

There are some good hard working honest people who work here that really care about the quality of work they do.

Cons

Poor communication. Doesn’t truly live the values they say. 10% pay cut to work from Home yet we’ve been working from home successfully full pay for over a year. President says offering flexible work schedules and will work through change together but solely up to manager to approve. Manager doesn’t like you? Guess what— you can’t take the pay decrease or have flex hours. Zero trust. Hiring freeze despite volumes of people leaving putting more work and stress on the already over worked and under paid. Morale is low. No budget for anything. Most cases have to pay for your own supplies.

Pros

Dedicated colleagues, supportive leaders, growth opportunities, good benefits, flexibility

Cons

Not a lot of diversity, but that is pretty reflective of the area. Would like to see the company continue to focus on DEI.
