The company is still coming out of a tough financial situation with bankruptcy. There are a lot of expectations on everyone because of this.

PG&E is a great company to work for if you want stability, support from coworkers, and chances to learn new things. The benefits are super competitive, and there are constant opportunities to move around and build new skills. People genuinely care about each other, and there is a real "family first" attitude that helps you feel appreciated and balanced between work and home.

Cons

The span and layers of management are large, making it difficult for individual contributors to engage meaningfully with senior leadership.
