I worked a lot and still didn’t make ends

Pros

I’d say the cafeteria discounts . The residents and they are always short staffed so you will get over time and then the managers cuss you out even tho they told you to come work over time

Cons

The management there will cut your hours and make you partime so that they don’t have problems with letting you go and they make sure you aren’t eligible for benefits by hiring you on as part time

Pros

An amazing department manager who worked with everyone in the department to meet our needs. Some fun residents that I got to interact with regularly. Clear training and organized structures in place. Great coworkers, even if we rarely saw each other.

Cons

Not competitive wages. Management in other departments was awful to work with. Some residents were very entitled about their demands and hard to deal with on a regular basis. All over the place schedule and called in a lot to cover at odd hours.

Loved working with the residents. The building is new, staff can use the gym on site, monthly trimet pass, and good location.

Cons

Pay is way below market. Management is pretty aloof.
